New Single/Video from Bee Appleseed "I Believe In You"

Los Angeles, CA based singer/songwriter Bee Appleseed has a new single/video out for "I Believe In You".

About the song:

"I Believe In You" is the final track off Bee Appleseed's forthcoming psychedelic folk rock odyssey 21st Century Prayer - his first solo album in 5 years after consistently putting out around 3 albums a year with his 8 member improvised psych rock band Elf Freedom, including many live albums and solo mixtapes. Appleseed fans rejoice because not only is it the best Bee Appleseed album yet reflecting the time and effort it took to make it, but it's a double LP featuring 21 tracks and spanning an hour of playback, taking the listener on a journey that is a soundtrack to life in the times we're living in. "I Believe In You" features around 10 other musicians and 20 backing vocalists, strings, horns, 12 string acoustic and electric guitars, and all the business, with the intention of leaving the listener with a sense of optimism and hope to conclude the 21st Century Prayer. In the video co-directed with Nora Keyes and edited by Isaiah Andrés Galarza, Bee takes the viewer to his hometown in Oregon, which he references in the second verse of the song. Even the song being 5:03 in length is a reference to the area code of the NW corner of the state. As the first solo LP Bee recorded in Los Angeles during his 8 years of living in the city so far, he wanted to include as many friends and members of his community as he could, culminating in an epic joyous opus of an album. "Don't be surprised by the disguise that the messenger wears, nor the situations in which you find yourself saying your prayers" is a standout lyric along with the catchy chorus "I believe in you, do you believe in me?" The song itself is a communal singalong reflecting on Bee's personal journey as he fuses his own experience with that of the universal, the community, and the greater collective of humanity.
