The crass, rocking, 27 times platinum album is a beast and while now it seems like it has always been around, it is pretty surprising that such as successful record came from a group who were switching up lead singers.
The death of Bon Scott hangs heavy over the album, but also Brian Johnson brings the band to a new level. Produced by Mutt Lange, the record is sparse, yet huge, a neat musical trick and while the lyrics are cringe worthy at times, when it hits the mark, there are few better mainstream heavy metal records.
Play it loud on it's 45th Anniversary today, here are a few tracks to get you started.
