Happy 50th Anniversary to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band's Night Moves.

Happy 50th Anniversary to Bob Seger's 1976 album Night Moves.

So if I am being honest...

I was very late to the game on Seger. Up until about 4 years ago, I never really cared at all about him and thought he was kind of a joke. Then the song "Night Moves" hit me like a ton of bricks falling out a Detroit highrise.  I have never looked back.

Well I looked back a little, but this album is awesome. Maybe it is the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section sprucing up a few tunes, or the old school looking "Rock and Roll Never Forgets" but it is probably just that Seger knocked it out of the park on the wistful title track.

The best song he has ever written, by far.

So, on the album's 50th Anniversary, crack a cold one and put this on. Here are a few tunes to get you started.
