Every April (and the first Friday in May) we have a special showcase for bands who are playing this years Jazzfest in NOLA. Today we will focus on Lizzo who will be playing tomorrow, Saturday May 2nd.
Unfortunately due to the outbreak of Covid19, Jazzfest has been rescheduled for October (no official date as of yet). Hopefully all of the scheduled acts are healthy and will be performing then, but since we crafted these posts before the outbreak, RtBE will still post them this month and will regroup/revisit things in the fall when (hopefully) things return to semi-normal.
One of the fastest rising stars in music is set to play a show tomorrow at the Fairgrounds as Lizzo and her crew take over opposite geezers like Dead & Co. The ability to see two varied artists like these are just one reason this festival is the best in the world.
