NOLA's The Rumble Announce Debut Album and Tour
RtBE's favorite new New Orleans based act, The Rumble, have announced their debut album Live at The Maple Leaf.
To support this they also announced their first expanded tour and will be coming to New York City. As fans who have seen the band multiple times in NOLA, we can't wait to catch them in the big city.

Run The Jewels Announce Tenth Anniversary Tour
The hip-hop duo Run The Jewels have announced RTJX the tenth anniversary tour from the band.
El-P and Killer Mike will hit four cities, for four nights each and play each one of their four albums each night for a total of 16 shows. A pretty cool idea. RtBE are big fans of RTJ, having reviewed their last three albums and caught them live twice already, even ranking RTJ4 the album of the year in 2020.

Newport Jazz Fest Announces Lineup: Jon Batiste, Thundercat and Many More
While RtBE are partial to New Orleans for our Jazz Festivals, Newport Jazz just announced a hell of a lineup for their fest in a August.
The Newport Jazz Festival lineup is stacked. From RtBE favs like Thundercat, Jon Batiste and Herbie Hancock to historic soon to sets of Joe Russo Almost Dead with Kamasi Washington and lesser known (but still kick ass) acts like Butcher Brown and Pedrito Martinez; this is one loaded lineup.

New Single from Mickelson, “Only Grey Matter Boiling In My Head”
US alternative folk/rock artist, Mickelson is back with the brand new single: “Only Grey Matter Boiling In My Head” and news of a fresh run of UK Dates.
The new single sees the San Francisco songwriter teaming-up with XTC legend Colin Moulding, who provides the track with its wandering bassline and production.

New Album and Twentieth Anniversary Shows from The Hold Steady
One of RtBE's personal favorites The Hold Steady turn twenty this year and to celebrate they announced a host of shows today and a new album.
While RtBE weren't huge fans of their last release, we are always down to check out what they are doing and will certainly catch them live a few times next year after seeing them play last month at Massive Nights.

The newest single from industrial/dance outfit Donzii is "Grave" with a video directed by Javier Hernandez.
The Miami based group will have their debut album released on December 1st. It is titled Fishbowl and they will be playing Elsewhere in Brooklyn on 11/26.

One of the slickest purveyors of noise/psych based desert rock and roll The Black Angels have announced a new album, tour and single.
The first album from the group in 5 years is Wilderness of Mirrors and a full tour is in the works, traversing the country this summer and fall.

SummerStage Announces Full Lineup with Trombone Shorty, George Clinton & Many More
There are many cool things that go on during summer in the City, but SummerStage is near the top of that list. They have announced their lineup and there are a few RtBE favorites gracing the stage.
Timeout has a run down plus links to BRIC shows, but a few of our favorites like the insane Trombone Shorty show on June 13th and George Clinton on June 15th make for a hell of a funky week of tunes in Central Park.

New Album From Delta Spirit in May, First Single Released
The indie pop rockers Delta Spirit have been reunited since 2020 and now they, semi-surprisingly, are releasing a new album titled One Is One.
The announcement came over Instagram:
The band has been up and down to RtBE's ears over the years and we have followed them from the beginning, catching them live way back in the summer of 2008.
We loved their debut and self titled release and disliked their second album and their recent reunion record. That said, we will obviously check this one out and hope they are the Brett Saberhagen of indie rock bands.

Phish Announce Huge Spring and Summer Tour
Jamband legends Phish have announced a massive tour for Spring/Summer 2022.
The band will hit the road starting in Alabama at the end of May and wrap up with their now annual stay over Labor Day weekend in Colorado.

The Greyboy Allstars Announce New Album, Single and Tour Dates
The San Digeo California based The Greyboy Allstars have announced a new live, cover album titled Get A Job: Music From The Original Broadcast Series Soul Dream and unveiled tour dates.
RtBE enjoys the band, and reviewed their last album. Como De Allstars for Glide. The Greyboy's will play some great venues to promote it and we hope to catch them live.
The first single "I've Got Reasons" has been released from the album. Check it out:
