Live Review: The Complete Last Waltz Live 11/17/18 Capital Theatre, Port Chester, NY

Hey all, got a new review up @glidemag which you can read Right C'here!!!

It is of the fantastic Complete Last Waltz Live at the Capital Theatre in Port Chester, NY.

A fantastic night of music, food (no we weren't given Thanksgiving dinner) and great friends. It may have to become an annual ritual as it paid homage to one of the best concerts of all time and managed to feel friendly, welcoming and fun.

One thing we didn't put in the review was a special nod to Dave Dreiwitz who was playing Rick Danko inspired Gibson Ripper bass. Pretty cool, as were the gold/yellow guitars.

The Complete Last Waltz Tribute Set for November 17th @ Capital Theater

While it is a touch depressing to think about November when spring is just starting, it is nice to know that The Complete Last Waltz show is scheduled to take place 11/17/18 at the Capital Theater.

Included on the bill are some of RtBE's favorites including Craig Finn from The Hold Steady, Matthew Logan Vasquez, Joe Russo, Marc Benevento, Dap-King horns and a host of others.

This will be a hell of a show and while in past years it was actually held over Thanksgiving weekend, this year it will take place the Saturday before hand. Tickets go onsale Friday at noon with a presale tomorrow.

 Last year we had some clips from 1986's Thanksgiving Day Parade, today we are tossing it back to 1990. First up we got some Muppet's as this was the first parade after the death of Jim Henson
