RtBE's Favorites Craig Finn just announced a Fall Tour
on his (and
The Hold Steady's ) Instagram Pages.
He and his band, The Uptown Controllers (along with
John K Samson ) will be returning to
City Winery on Halloween this year to play NYC. We recently
caught them at the same venue and will be catching The Hold Steady in December so we are debating attending this show, but all the tour dates and info is below:
Excited to announce that I’ll be heading out with The Uptown Controllers for a headline tour this Fall. We start October 13 in Gainesville and end on Halloween in NYC with a lot of ground covered in between. This is the first headline tour since the release of We All Want The Same Things and I’m really looking forward to stretching out and playing these songs for everyone. In a fantastic turn of events, John K. Samson will be opening the shows. John is one of my all time favorite lyricists and songwriters and it’s a dream come true to have him join us for these dates. Come on out and hang with us, these shows will be special.
