Cory Wong & Dave Koz New Single "Friends At Sea"

It is once again Jazzy January here @RockBodyElec where the site will focus on Jazz based songs, shows, albums and covers. Our Monday Dylan series will get involved, as will Full Show Fridays.

Today we start the monthly spotlight with a very recent collaboration between old school and new school as guitarist Cory Wong teams up with Grammy award saxophonist Dave Koz on a smooth jazz single "Friends At Sea".

While it might have the label smooth, the group really digs into it and gets the energy flowing. The two players have recorded a seven inch titled The Koz Nod and the group also recorded a live video of the session for "Friends at Sea" which you can check out below:
