It is of the recent live New York Hardcore show in Tompkins Square Park on Saturday April 24th
This was RtBE's first show since the Drive By Truckers on February 21st 2020. It was just over 14 months between shows and worlds away mentally/physically/emotionally as the world has shifted unthinkably in that time.
While we wished more masks were worn and hope the majority of people were vaccinated, we are over two weeks from our second vaccine and felt the need to see the show. It was a joyous occasion and we were glad to see so many friends who we hadn't seen in months.
While the bands were all very good, they were secondary to the gathering which brought a sense of community back to the LES. While that is not without controversy, RtBE had a great time.
