Full Show Friday: Nicholas Payton Trio 11/15/14 Bear Creek Music Festival

We search the murky back waters of youtube to find full concerts and post them to the site weekly, come back every seven days to help us celebrate Full Show Friday's. These shows are of varying quality and may not be here for long so enjoy them while you can...As always, please support the artist every which way, but especially by seeing them live (if they are still playing)...This week...Nicholas Payton Trio!

Every April we have a special showcase for bands who are playing this years Jazzfest in NOLA. In 2021 Jazzfest is happening in October, so we will have a special Full Show Friday this month. Today we will focus on the Nicholas Payton Trio who will played Sunday October 10th.

Once again Jazzfest is canceled due to Covid. Hopefully it happens in April-May of 2022.

A really cool set from the Nicholas Payton Trio playing the Bear Creek Music Festival back in 2014. This set also gets a special guest appearance from another New Orleans legend George Porter Jr. (whose newest album is great) helping out on bass during the opening track.
