The crew over at Summer Darling Tapes has put together a release to benefit The Coalition for the Homeless.
From the label themselves:
The short story is they wanted to do something to give back to the community through music and decided to curate a mixtape that's composed of contemporary post-punk and shoegaze bands. The money raised is donated to The Coalition for the Homeless and Summer Darling are matching every dollar spent on purchase of the cassette.
The Coalition for the Homeless stands as a remarkable not-for-profit advocacy group. They have been at the forefront of groundbreaking litigation, safeguarding the rights of homeless individuals, including the fundamental rights to shelter and to vote. Moreover, they tirelessly champion long-term solutions to address the complex issue of homelessness.
Some tracks have never been released in a physical format and some tracks are specifically for this mixtape.
