RtBE are fans of the Crowes having seen them a ton and reviewed them a bunch. To these ears,
Before the Frost...Until the Freeze was the best from the band, yes, even better than their first two albums. It opened them up to a range of new tunes while they still could rock. This record feels safe and a touch dull. Not awful, but not memorable or very exciting either.
