To these ears, Alice In Chains made the quintessential "grunge" album with Dirt. RtBE still often goes back to listen to it. Dirt was a real kick to the ears and mind back in 1993 and while drugs were a huge part of it, the blending of grinding low end and the soaring highs from Cantrell and Staley are a winning combo.
