American Songwriter is a pretty damn cool website. It does reviews, a lot of previews of streaming albums and in one of our favorite features it goes in depth on certain songs in their lyrics of the week in their behind the song category. Last week they tackled Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You".
The fact that Dolly Parton even wrote this song is probably news to some people who can not get the Whitney Houston version out of their head...even when they just read the title. The fact is Miss Parton is a hell of a songwriter/singer and this is one of her bests.
