Shovels and Rope were asked to curate the lineup and they nailed it. While we really like that band and now we like them even more as their ears and taste seem to be just as talented as the rest of them. Jason Isbell, Band of Horses, Jeff Tweedy have all been featured on RtBE before and we would love to catch them all at a festival. It is quite frankly some of the best Americana you will hear anywhere...and there will be oyster seminars?!?!
With our commitment to Jazzfest we will probably not be able to head to this one, but we are praying all these bands keep the party going and head to NOLA when that announcement is made. Until then let's hear some of the bands playing High Water, starting with the curators themselves:
