New Single/Video from Sports Team "Boys These Days"

The London based indie rock outfit Sports Team have a new single/video out for the title track from their new album "Boys These Days"

Regarding the video...Directed by Kris Rimmer and filmed around East London, the video features a striking transformation of lead singer Alex Rice that was the result of four-hours in prosthetics.

Lyricist Rob Knaggs elaborates on the story:
“We wanted to bridge Walking With Dinosaurs and Citizen Kane. An enraged OAP walking around Shoreditch growing increasingly angry with “boys these days” and their ungodly electronic cigarettes and elaborate coffees. I think as the day wore on, and Alex grew increasingly itchy and irritable under the layers of latex the amount of acting required decreased drastically.

We worked with director Kris Rimmer and prosthetics expert Georgia Olive who’s done a lot of incredible things (making Cara Delavigne Elton John / the blown apart legs in ‘Warfare’) so just seeing that process from the inside was great. I don’t think we realised the makeup would be so convincing in real life. It was haunting, a look into the future when we’re on our third 50th anniversary world tour, living off IV Drips and daily MRIs.”
