Perry was a giant in the world of music, having worked with everyone in the Jamaican reggae and dub scenes, while influencing far beyond his countries borders. He was wholly unique and marched to his own funky drummer, we will not see his like again.
We reviewed Panic In Babylon for Glide back in the day and respected him as an artist and innovator. The best way to celebrate his life is listen to his art. Enjoy:
