Full Show Friday: Joni Mitchell - Shadows and Light Concert

Recorded at the Santa Barbara Bowl in September 1979, the concert captures Joni Mitchell on her Mingus tour. This show was officially released as a live album a year later as Shadows and Light.

 

Mitchell has some impressive support here with Jaco Pastorius - bass; Pat Metheny - lead guitar; Lyle Mays - keyboards; Don Alias - drums/percussion; Michael Brecker - tenor/soprano saxophone; The Persuasions - backing vocals.
