Live Streams: A Virtual St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Sojourn

We are now heading into the new normal with live music during the Covid-19 era. Live shows will need to be flexible and live streaming is a great way to keep music going. Streams have become essential for live music junkies like RtBE. Things are (hopefully) improving on the pandemic front but live streams will be an option for artists during the foreseeable future. We will highlight various shows/streams/virtual events for your viewing and listening pleasure and as a way to help out the artists. You can check out our weekly Full Show Friday series for concerts from the past and as always, please support the artists any which way you can.

Today we highlight: A Virtual St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Sojourn

Boston's WGBH is presenting A Virtual St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Sojourn. From their site:
GBH presents its annual A St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Sojourn with Brian O’Donovan in five venues this year with six concerts total. As with Christmas Celtic, we will begin our tour at Rockport’s singular Shalin Liu Performance Center on the 11th. Back to Worcester’s Hanover Theatre for the first time in a few years on March 17th (the day itself) before returning to The Zeiterion in New Bedford on the 18th, and then, to the wonderful Somerville Theatre where it all started back in 2004. The very first St. Pats Day Show. And concluding as has now become custom, in Beverly at The Cabot Theatre for a matinee on Sunday, March 20th.

This event is available virtually as well as in-person.

Starting at 7:30 pm, virtual tickets found here.  Check out the radio station and below is a video from past Sojourns:
