Live Streams: Halfway to Mardi Gras with John Papa Gros

Today we highlight: Halfway to Mardi Gras with John Papa Gros

While it remains to be seen if 2021 will return us to any sense of normalcy connected to pre-Covid times in this country, New Orleans based piano player John Papa Gros is remaining positive. He is hosting a "Halfway to Mardi Gras" stream tonight at 8pm CST:


Here's hoping he is right and Mardi Gras happens next year. A perfect reason to mask up, as long as this virus has receded and a vaccine is in motion. To keep the positive party vibes, here is Gros playing a tune from his recent album Central City titled simply "Mardi Gras":
