RtBE has covered the New Orleans based Soul Rebels a ton having seen them down south and many times up at Brooklyn Bowl. This set wasn't our favorite from them (2016 was pretty damn solid) but DMX truly spiced up the night. It is just a shame he only did one song with the band.
Odds are we will catch them down at Jazzfest again this year as they are constantly touring and playing. Catch them when they come to your next of the woods.
