These shows are of varying quality and may not be here for long so enjoy them while you can...As always, please support the artist every which way, but especially by seeing them live (if they are still playing)...This week...Soundgarden!
Some months our Full Show Friday's will focus on specific artists, years, venues, festivals or some combo of it all.
This month we are returning to the year of 1992 for our Full Show Friday Series.
1992 was a pretty wild year for music. This month for our Full Show Friday's we are going to showcase some established bands, some up and comers (in '92) and huge Grammy winner from the year, but we had to start with a cultural revolution in touring, music and a whole lot of other things...Lollaplooza. A major 90's staple, we missed this year of the tour, but hit the next few as it greatly influenced our musical tastes.
Today we are focusing on Soundgarden's set today at the Washington stop of the tour. The lineup on this day was pretty intense: Lush, Pearl Jam, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Soundgarden, Ice Cube, Ministry, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
