Full Show Friday: Anthony Hamilton Live Newport 2008

We search the murky back waters of youtube to find full concerts and post them to the site weekly, come back every seven days to help us celebrate Full Show Friday's. These shows are of varying quality and may not be here for long so enjoy them while you can...As always, please support the artist every which way, but especially by seeing them live (if they are still playing)...This week...Anthony Hamilton!

Every April we have a special showcase for bands who are playing this years Jazzfest in NOLA. Today we will focus on Anthony Hamilton who will be playing today, Friday April 24th.

Unfortunately due to the outbreak of Covid19, Jazzfest has been rescheduled for October (no official date as of yet). Hopefully all of the scheduled acts are healthy and will be performing then, but since we crafted these posts before the outbreak, RtBE will still post them this month and will regroup/revisit things in the fall when (hopefully) things return to semi-normal.

Update: the 2020 version of Jazzfest has been officially canceled

Anthony Hamilton delivers some rocking funky soul music with his group at their first Newport Jazz Fest set back in 2008.  He will bring this energy, gorgeous vocals and soul strutting today to the Fairgrounds.  RtBE wish we were there to get down with Hamilton and crew.
