Dylan Cover #150 Stevie Wonder "Blowin' In The Wind"

In this ongoing Monday Series we will be exploring various artists versions of Bob Dylan song's. Today's tune is a cover by Stevie Wonder playing "Blowin' In the Wind"
 Thoughts on Original:
From the first time we tackled a cover of this tune:
The classic Dylan song, if you asked 100 people to name you the first Bob Dylan song they thought of, or his best known song, I am guessing 95-99 of them would answer "Blowin' In The Wind".  It is an epic, vital song in the history of recorded music. The lyrics tell a stirring tale, the melody is enchanting, it is pretty spot on perfect, and when it originally came out if announced to the world the greatness that was Bob Dylan.

Thoughts on Cover Artist:
What else can be said about Stevie Wonder that hasn't been said already? Better yet you think you know the soul/R&B/rock/funk icon? Then watch this and be amazed again by the man.

Thoughts On Cover:
For the big numbers in this series we like to tackle songs of the bard's being performed by legendary artists who are on, close to or above his level. For 100 we had The King crooning, and this time around we get just as cool with Stevie Wonder doing a great version of Dylan's most iconic songs. The version is blissful, soulful and great, there is a sense that he is aching to rip into it even more, something I am sure Wonder did live during this period. Who will be 200? We shall see....
